50 States Half Crazy

For the last few years there has been a particular joy I look forward to every December- researching and planning next year's R*ce Calendar. I know, I know, it's terribly un-Hashy but what can I say? I loves me some bling.

It was this time last year that I discovered the NorCal Half Marathon Series (you know, that event I've been yammering about for the last 11 mos.?) (P.S. in 2013 they are introducing the California Marathon Series. Goodbye, functional legs.) and true to form, I just discovered that the 50 States Half Marathon Club offers discounts each month on various events nationwide! Did I mention that my r*ce calendar needed filling up? Did I also mention that this is a series to complete a half marathon in ALL 50 STATES? I need to have more money/vacation time.

Here are the events they're offering for January and February:

  1. So awesome!!! I did a full marathon in all 50 states but honestly a half marathon sounds much more appealing and less crazy :) The 50 States Club is a lot of fun and you'll meet a lot of neat people if you do it.
