Looking for a fun and creative 5k run in January? Well then- go ahead and create an account on Twitter and join the Twitter Road Race!
The brainchild of commercial airline pilot and DC Road Runners coach, Doug Cassaro, the Twitter Road Race is serving as a way to keep running fresh and fun. A way to run hard and strong without paying an entry fee, and a way to be part of something new and exciting.
The rules are simple: On January 21st go out for a 5k (3.1mi) run. Time and tweet your results with the hashtag #TwitterRoadRace. There will also be a results form, similar to the one used at registration, to record your time. All results must be submitted by 11:59pm Hawaiian Time to count.
So what are you waiting for? Start training!
You can register directly, here.
